Fire Hydrants Routine Flush

The Mount Clemens Water and Sewer Department will be performing routine flushing of fire hydrants (November 23, 2020 to December 31, 2020) throughout the City.  This may cause discolored, rusty water for some connecting service lines in the City.

 

If your water looks discolored, simply flush your line by turning on the cold water at the farthest faucet away from the water meter for 2 to 3 minutes until the water looks clear.  It is IMPERATIVE to flush your line before washing clothes.
