Elections for the offices of mayor and city commission occur every odd year. The mayor is elected for a two-year term and city commissioners serve a four-year term.
Candidate packets are available in early March during odd-numbered years.
To qualify as a candidate, you must be:
- at least 18 years of age
- a registered voter
- a resident of the City for at least 365 days immediately prior to the last day of filing
