There are approximately 124 acres of beautiful parks in the City of Mount Clemens available for all people to enjoy. The Parks Division maintains 12 parks, each with its own unique landscape. City Parks are open from dawn until dusk.

Located within Memorial Park, this is a one-acre park designed for dog owners to let their non-aggressive pets have some off-leash playtime. The park features a people/pet drinking fountain, bio-bag disposal and cleanup stations, faux fire hydrant, trees, benches, and a tire obstacle course.
Located on Northbound Gratiot at Park Street, this .7 acre shaded park is perfect for picnics. The Christian Clemens Monument stands as a tribute to the founder of the City of Mount Clemens. A 1872 Farrar and Trefts steam engine, that was donated to the city by Robert Weier, of Armada, and his sisters, Susan and Ann, also calls Clemens Park its home. Steam engines like this were used to pump mineral water into the tanks of Mount Clemens bath houses.
Located Downtown along both riverbanks of the Clinton River, this park features large grassy areas, benches, boat wells, and a gazebo. It is an excellent venue to view our annual Fireworks display.
Located between Dorothea and Leonore Streets just west of North Avenue. This half-acre park contains a playground for children 2 to 12 years old. During the winter months, an outdoor ice skating rink is open from dawn until dusk. This park is home to a little free library, courtesy of the Mount Clemens Optimist Club.
(Formerly known as Wilson Park)
Located between South Wilson and South Highland at Church Street. This park contains a playground with a community playscape, a small softball field and an outdoor ice skating rink open from dawn until dusk during the winter months. Wilson Gym is a multi-purpose gym for volleyball and basketball. If you are interested in utilizing this facility, please contact (586) 469-6818 ext. 319 for scheduling.
Located at Lawndale and Dickinson. This 1.6-acre neighborhood park features playground equipment, picnic tables, and an outdoor ice skating rink open from dawn until dusk during the winter months. This park is home to a little free library, courtesy of the Mount Clemens Optimist Club.
Located along the Clinton River, just east of the Mount Clemens YMCA. This 2.1-acre park serves as an arboretum and outdoor classroom for children studying trees and plants. The park includes a jogging path as well as a boardwalk where boats can dock and people can fish. A universally accessible kayak launch was installed in the fall of 2018. Located next to the Mount Clemens Community Center, this is a 40.9-acre park which features eight ball diamonds, a picnic pavilion, in-line skating court, and playground equipment. Mount Clemens Community Center is located at 300 North Groesbeck.
Located on Harrington between Southbound Gratiot and Groesbeck, just east of Mount Clemens General Hospital. Olsen Park has two lighted tennis courts, a Tot Lot, a tricycle trail, a junior baseball diamond, and picnic tables.
Located across the street from the County Court House on North Main Street. A place to relax and absorb the City’s downtown streetscape, it boasts a narrow oasis of plants and flowers with benches and a fountain.
Located off Clinton River Drive, east of Northbound Gratiot along the banks of the Clinton River. A heavily wooded, 41.6-acre park featuring a splash pad, picnic pavilion, magic square with ramps for skateboarding, a double basketball court, playground equipment, horseshoe pits, baseball field, fishing facilities, and a handicapped accessible pier with a boat and canoe launch.
The Splash-pad is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Located off of Riverside Drive, along the Clinton River. This 12.5-acre park is a wildlife sanctuary and is used by students as an outdoor education classroom to study nature. It also offers many scenic trails.
